PRIDE

In honor of Pride Month, I am releasing a new Human Canvas shoot that I have been toying with in my head for a few years now. I am so incredibly proud of this shoot and the way it came out. If you have been a long time follower of my work you should know I am a fan of bright colors and the pride flag is a perfect source of inspiration. (Disclaimer: I understand that in this day and age, there are many other flags that represent more specific parts of the LGBT+ community, and I hope to explore these in potential future shoots!)

Not only is this a new shoot but I am currently selling copies of the first photo from this blog post and anytime this image is purchased as a print, 50% of the proceeds will go directly to one of my favorite LGBTQ+ organizations: The Trevor Project - a leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.

If you are interested in purchasing a print, please head to my print shop page.

Lastly, I want to do a quick shout out to some of my favorite LGBT+ People in my life that I truly adore and look up to: Adam Kammin, Trent Morrison, Ryan Ehrmantraut, Devin Dougherty, Wendi Darling, Auzeen Seiffert, Jenna Fletcher, Margaret Jacobsen, Deirdre Hughes, & Grace Lundblade. Thank you all for inspiring me in so many ways when it comes to loving, living, and for always being who you are meant to be.

Anytime this print is purchased, 50% of proceeds will be donate to The Trevor Project.

An out take that I would not normally share - due to some face showing- but I can’t help but find this moment incredibly genuine and intimate.
